Meet Rachel, our founder!
Hi I’m Rachel, the face behind Rachel S Tutoring.
I am a passionate tutor and previous classroom teacher with QTS and DBS. I absolutely love learning and value education and the possibilities that it brings; this is reflected in all the lessons that I teach. Making learning fun, engaging and building positive relationships with children and young people is at the forefront of what Rachel S Tutoring is about!

In my experience as an educator, I have had the opportunity to teach in Japan, teaching English as a Foreign Language. The majority of my teaching career has been dedicated to working as a year 6 teacher, as well as a supply teacher. Throughout the past 10 years, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the National Curriculum from KS1 to KS3 by teaching across various age groups. My teaching journey has taken me to schools in East London and Lancashire, providing me with valuable experience in adapting my teaching style and techniques to suit the needs of diverse learners.
